Personal Weight Loss Step 1

Maybe you have a weight problem? If it’s been there for most of your life and your parents and/or brothers and sisters tend to be big then think about the portions of food that you eat.

Are you still living by your parent's standards - making sure your plate is always empty at the end of the meal? There’s no reason for you to continue this tradition and if you are a parent yourself, or planning to become one sometime in the future – then now is the time to break that pattern, to help future generations of your family to guard against obesity and heart disease...

If, on the other hand, you have a problem with sweet foods and/or junk foods, cakes, biscuits, crisps, sweets (candies), ice cream, etc. then you can learn to destroy that sugar craving before it destroys you...

Perhaps you're eating large amounts of food more often than not, not necessarily in a family setting, but simply not knowing or not able to stop eating, even when you know you're full. If that sounds like you . . .

If you're the sort of person who cannot deal with relationship crisis, if you over eat because you're upset and blame yourself each time something goes wrong, then Script Four is for you.

Are you a comfort eater? This script can be added to Script Three for extra impact or may be used alone, if appropriate.

Script Six is for the Punishment Eater. If you have low self esteem with is linked to overeating or if you feel that eating in some macabre way is a form of punishment or protection - maybe it stops you getting too involved with people, or stops them from getting close to you, try this script if that is the case.

For some people, overeating is a habit they have just never grown out of. They ate a lot when they were growing up and forgot to stop once they had 'grown up' - does this sound like you?

This is another one for the Punishment Eater or for someone who has lost touch with themselves and feels continuously empty inside.

Food isn't always the culprit. Alcohol contains loads of calories and people who have a drink or two (or three or more) every night, just add to their problems and their weight. If you have a problem then sort it out fast, alcohol is a killer in more ways than one.

Fat people are often sluggish and get tired very easily, this script can be added onto any of the others.

Powerful imagery can control the release of hormones and speed up the metabolism. This script can be combined with any of the others in your personal weight loss programme. It can increase the metabolism and help you burn up those calories more quickly.

Whichever script or combination of scripts you decide to use, don't forget to end your hypnosis with the count up - out of hypnosis - taking care to remove any unwanted suggestions (e.g. suggestions of heaviness) which may have been used in the induction or elsewhere.

If you are recording your programme, be sure to listen to it at least thirty times, in order for the suggestions to become firmly fixed in the subconscious mind.
